"This was my third time staying at the Shire. Being a returning guest, and also bringing others to stay here is a compliment to the place. Ken was great at the front desk. Rooms were clean and very comparable to the twice the price resort off the village green downtown. Great location with a short walk to town. Backyard on the river. Mac's grocery across the street. It's a good value in an expensive region. I highly recommend."
