THE VILLAGE BUTCHER operates as an old style Butcher Shop where meat is selected and cut for the customer while they wait. The beef sold here is all natural and raised in a stress-free Environment,with no hormones,steroids or antibiotics added to the feed, which consists of a strict vegetarian diet to produce the most consistant,best tasting,most tender,highest quality beef you can buy. Early morning finds the staff serving fresh brewed coffee,muffins,bagels,and doughnuts while preparing fresh made deli salads,soups and specials for the lunch crowd. A nice selection of wine,cheese,fresh baked rolls and pastries, homemade fruit and meat pies,Vermont maple products,ham,bacon, homemade sausage,and fudge is also availabe. chicken pot pies , and pork pies (canadian receipe tourtiere)are really good.Your selection of items may be packaged and mailed if needed.
