With warmer weather, this is the perfect time to spend the daylight hours outdoors enjoying mother nature. Look to take in a performance or peruse local art in the evenings this weekend.

Learn about rap and hip hop with Windsor based producer/MC Jarv, best known for his quick wit and innuendos throughout the collaborative album with producer ThiefofBaghdad The Boiler RoomOr catch a performance of HAIR The Tribal Rock Musical as it enters its final weekend of showings at the Woodstock Town Hall Theater, the reviews couldn't be better.

On Sunday, let your inner creative out to make keepsake books and journals or wind down with Woodstock UU's Chamber Music Series. 

FRIDAY, APRIL 27TH...

Meet artist John Kenyon as he unveils his new exhibit "Life Lessons" at AVA Gallery & Art in Lebanon, 4 - 5pm. 

Peruse artworks at the opening reception for Alysa Bennett’s “A Change of Horse”, John Kenyon’s “Life Lessons”, Jay Mead’s “Re-Purposed”, and Nicholas Gaffney’s “Orbiter”. 5-7 pm at AVA Gallery & Art Center. Exhibit on display through May 25th. 

Join Norman Williams Public Library for an Evening of Rap and the History of Hip Hop with local MC/producer Jarv, 6 pm. Open to the public. 

See HAIR The Tribal Rock Musical presented by Pentangle Arts at Woodstock Town Hall Theater, 730 pm. Tickets available here. Shows runs through the weekend. 

SATURDAY, APRIL 28TH...

Lend a hand at Ascutney Trails Work Day at Climb Fitness Center to get the trails ready for the upcoming season, 830 am - 12 pm. 

Learn how to strengthen immunity and maintain wellness with yogic practices at the Healthy Aging Series at Strong House Spa in Quechee. 3 - 5 pm. 

Enjoy acoustic pop from Danika & The Jeb at ArtisTree Hayloft. 730 pm. Tickets available here

SUNDAY, APRIL 29TH...

Listen to Ronald Lowry, principal cellist of Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and Lois Shapiro, piano faculty at Wellesley College, perform sonatas by Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms as part of Woodstock UU Chamber Music Series. 2 pm at North Chapel

Create beautiful spiral bound keepsake books and journals with Margaret Dwyer at Artistree Community Arts Center, 9 am - 12 pm. More details and registration available here
