Fishing in Vermont Cast on Vermont's most picturesque locations

The third Saturday in April, Vermont welcomes the start of fishing season. Whether you fly fish in the Woodstock Area's Ottauquechee River, from a boat on Silver Lake, to the north in Barnard or head out to the Connecticut River, fishing is a fun-filled yet slower-paced recreational activity. You'll find Brook Trout, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout in the waters of the Kedron Brook right in the center of the village. Or venture over to the Woodstock Recreation Center and perch yourself amongst the rocks to enjoy a day of fishing while close to all Woodstock has to offer.

With four different license types to choose from, anglers can purchase the license that best fits their trip schedule. Buy your license online and get out on the water!
