Hands-on activities include candle dipping\, interactive butter making\, and cooking demonstrations on a historic cookstove. Guests can also take part in the age-old custom of wassailing the orchard\, singing to the trees and sharing bread and cider to bring a fruitful harvest in the year ahead.   \n\n\nGuests can warm up by the outdoor firepits with a cup of Wassail punch\, capture festive photos among the holiday decorations and enjoy horse-drawn wagon or sleigh rides\, available on Friday and Sunday from 11:00AM – 3:00PM\, weather permitting.  \nDon’t miss the Billings Farm draft horses parading through downtown Woodstock during the iconic Wassail Parade at 2:00PM!

DESCRIPTION:Small Works: An annual holiday exhibit featuring artworks and fine crafts that celebrate the season.\n\n\n\nOpening Reception: Friday\, November 14th from 5:30-7:30pm \n\n\n\nThe Small Works exhibit features size-restricted 2-D and 3-D artwork  and fine crafts by area local artists. Paintings and prints 144 square inches (12″x12″) or smaller will be displayed for your holiday viewing (and purchasing) pleasure. \n\n\n\nIncluded in this exhibit is the “Artists for Artistree” silent auction fundraiser. Many area artists paint and donate 8″ x 8″ panels to be auctioned to raise money for the Artistree Scholarship Fund.  \n\n\n\nArtistree is a nonprofit arts organization committed to providing joyful and meaningful arts experiences.  The Artistree scholarship program enables us to offer arts experiences for all\, regardless of financial circumstances.

These short\, dark days are marked with a variety of different traditions. We gather with family and friends\, light candles\, and often share a meal or a song. Animals also have ways of adapting to the cold and snow. \nWe invite you to bring a friend and enjoy an hour of fun and festive tales.
