SUMMARY:Rumney Sessions at Fable Farm
DESCRIPTION:Much like Feast & Field\, these Thursday evenings bring together farm food\, art\, and community—but in a smaller\, cozier setting. Tucked inside a 250-year-old barn\, these gatherings offer a warm and welcoming space for all ages. \n\n\n\nJust like the orchard where Feast & Field is held\, the barn is family-friendly\, perfect for children and adults alike. As the seasons shift\, so do our events—downsized to reflect the rhythm of autumn\, but still full of life\, flavor\, and connection. \n\n\n\nWe serve up artisanal pizzas every week\, along with a rotating menu of fresh\, farm-grown dishes. New this year: enjoy handcrafted Fable cocktails\, made with ingredients from our farm—everything but the distilled spirit. \n\n\n\nSee the full musician lineup here.

DESCRIPTION:Hailing from Japan\, O’Jizo specializes in Irish traditional music\, and combines the musical talents of Kozo Toyota on flute\, guitarist Koji Nagao\, and Hirofumi Nakamura on bouzouki and accordion. \n\n\n\nTheir band name comes from blending syllables of each player’s name (hirO\, koJI\, koZO). And their music is a blend of old and new Irish tunes\, learned from years of study and travel to Ireland\, the U.S.\, and Canada. They play expertly with a variety of moods\, pacing\, and use of musical space. \n\n\n\nFor their March 2025 East Coast tour they will collaborate with Boston duo Matt & Shannon Heaton. The Heatons are integral figures in Boston’s Irish traditional music scene\, performing extensively\, teaching\, and welcoming players of all levels in sessions and other community events. With Shannon on flute and vocals\, and Matt’s rhythmic\, nuanced guitar and bouzouki playing\, the duo is known for their engaging\, dynamic stage presence. They have collaborated with members of O’Jizo for over a decade.

SUMMARY:The Faux Paws LIVE in concert
DESCRIPTION:From raging fiddle tunes\, to saxophone solos and unrequited love songs\, the music of The Faux Paws would be hard to pin down with standard genre descriptions. The trio’s contagious groove\, and feel-good melting pot folk music has been honed over ten years of playing together\, and is the sound of three close friends (two of which happen to be brothers)\, who feel a musical kinship that transcends any stylistic limitations.  Now\, after nearly a decade of music making\, the bi-coastal trio are releasing their self-titled debut album “The Faux Paws” \nBrothers Andrew and Noah Van Norstrand grew up playing contra dance music with their musician mother in the band Great Bear. Chris Miller grew up in Florida\, and he was enamored with bluegrass\, and studied jazz before going on to play with GRAMMY nominated Cajun-country band The Revelers. Since meeting in 2012\, the trio have toured across North America several times\, sometimes under the name The Faux Paws\, sometimes as part of other larger ensembles.  But due to their commitments to other bands and musical projects\, the timing was never right to focus on making The Faux Paws a priority. Instead\, they took their time learning about different styles of music from one another\, and finding where their interests and skills could create unexpected and exciting new sounds. “I love super glossy pop music\, and Chris is always pushing more of a jazz influence” says Noah.. “But we all have a strong background in dance music\, so almost everything we do has rhythm and groove\, and is based around hook and feel”.
