Fishing

The third Saturday in April heralds in the fishing season in the cold spring waters surrounding the Woodstock Area. You'll need a fishing license which is easily accessed through the Vermont Fish & Wildlife website. You'll find Brook Trout, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout in the waters of the Kedron Brook right in the center of the village. Or venture over to the Woodstock Recreation Center and perch yourself amongst the rocks to enjoy a day of fishing while close to all Woodstock has to offer.
