General info

Farmhouse Inn embodies the essence of Vermont.  Join us for a rejuvenating and inspiring stay on a countryside setting located just minutes from the Village of Woodstock and an array of shops, craftspeople, hiking trails, and history.  The rural landscape of this former dairy farm is spectacular, the beds are comfortable, the hospitality is friendly, and the candle-lit breakfasts will be hot, hearty, and homemade using locally sourced products including fresh eggs that we collect daily from our happy hens and featuring our own golden honey, homemade maple syrup, and kitchen garden delights.

Find relaxed comfort at this TripAdvisor favorite set on 17 acres fronting the Ottauquechee River along the the Crossroad of Vermont scenic byway. Farmhouse Inn provides a unique rural Vermont bed and breakfast experience with an excellent selection of nearby restaurants.  Unwind with our Farmhouse-blended bath products, tour the historic five-story dairy barn, walk the neighboring trails through green rolling hills, or sit by the brook to enjoy the brilliant evening stars.

Events here are beautiful and relaxed with a number of nice locations on the property for outdoor ceremonies and a barn high-drive that can accommodate 120 seated ceremony guests. Receptions are hosted in our 900 square-foot reconstructed white barn that can accommodate up to 50 and the historic 100-year-old big red barn that can accommodate up to 136.
