About Ottauquechee River Trail
The Ottauquechee River Trail (ORT) is a 2.8-mile scenic walking trail that begins at the edge of East End Park and runs along the river, through working agricultural fields, and beside Woodstock’s 150-year-old rail bed. Built through the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers who partnered with local landowners and generous donors, the ORT is Woodstock’s only flat, universal-access trail providing public access to the Ottauquechee River for residents and visitors alike.
The Ottauquechee River Trail is a project of the Woodstock Community Trust, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. You can download the trail map here.
