“This was my third time staying at the Shire. Being a returning guest, and also bringing others to stay here is a compliment to the place. Rooms were clean and very comparable to the twice the price resort off the village green downtown. Great location with a short walk to town. Backyard on the river. Mac’s grocery across the street. It’s a good value in an expensive region. I highly recommend.”
