Presented by Upper Valley Educators Institute, this film screening and panel discussion addresses the urgency of the literary crisis and offers hope through research-based solutions. Discover the roots of America’s literacy challenges and why proven reading instruction remains out of reach for many classrooms. The post-film panel features national and local leaders, educators, and students, including Dr. Louisa Moats, Dr. Julie Burtscher Brown, Dr. Liz Cannon, Maze Laverty, Tesha Buss, and Asa Dorfman, moderated by Lynne Howard.
