Gather the flock and “herd” on down to Billings Farm & Museum for an exciting glimpse into Vermont’s sheep farming history. Explore the sheep-to-yarn process with hands-on activities such as cleaning fleeces, carding wool, and a yarn-dyeing demonstration! Fans of fiber crafts can check out drop spindle and wheel spinning, felting, knitting, and crocheting! Watch live loom weaving! Head on over to the fields to see those expert sheep herders - Border Collies - in action. Guest farm friends include fiber goats, fiber rabbits, and lambs! Billy Boucher’s Bluegrass Band will be on hand with musical entertainment 1PM-3PM. Visit Sustainable Eats and the Vermont Snack Shack for food truck fare or grab a Vermont-made ice cream from the Scoop Shop.
