Step into history and be part of something truly special. This Fourth of July weekend, Woodstock invites you to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with an unforgettable celebration of music, tradition, and community spirit.

VSO at Saskadena Six

July 1

The festivities kick off with a spectacular opening performance by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra at Saskadena Six—an inspiring start to a week filled with celebration.

Music in the Park

July 3

Enjoy two performances at East End Park with the Woodstock Community Choir and Marc Berger. Bring a blanket, gather your friends, and come early to enjoy local food, drinks, and the beauty of Woodstock in summer.

Firecracker 5K Run/Walk

July 4

Join us for the inaugural Ottauquechee River Trail (ORT) Firecracker 5K. It is family-friendly, and the route is mostly flat, easy to walk or run, and surrounded by lots of great nature. Sign up early, spots are limited.

Kids Bike Parade

July 4

Join the fun for the Kids Bike Parade starting at Woodstock Elementary School with decorations available at 10:30, parade begins at 11:00am and goes up to the Village Green.

Kids Market and Craft Fair

July 4

Come support youth in the community at the Kids Market on the Green and shop from local vendors at the Craft Fair.

Community Dinner

July 4

Join together with neighbors, friends, and community members for a special community dinner on the Village Green. Live music, food available for purchase, beverages and bar, and good old fashioned fun!

Pool Party

July 5

Come join the party and swim for free at the Rec Center pool. Bring a picnic or enjoy snacks from the snack bar.

Fireworks

July 5

Celebrate July 4th weekend with fireworks and flag ceremony at the Woodstock Union High School.  Tons of fun family-friendly activities including Games, Face painting, Bouncy House, Live Music, and more! Food and beverages will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic!
