With winter hanging around this week and mud taking over the trails, we have rounded up art shows, musical performances and creative workshops in the Woodstock area to keep you busy all weekend. Laugh with a Bostonian comedian, enjoy a free movie, or take the kids to a fun filled clay day.

Listen to Opera North present excerpts from Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann. 4 - 4:30 pm at Norman Williams Public Library

Unwind at Yoga with Maeve at the Optimist Center, 5 pm.

Watch Ocean’s 11 at Woodstock Town Hall Theater as part of Pentangle Arts Thank You Thursday Free Film Series, 730 pm.

Friday, April 6th….

Celebrate the opening of ArtisTree's MUD (season) Exhibit and view works by local artists  interpreting and inspired by the theme MUD. Opening reception at 5:30 pm. 

Take in new prints by Patty Castellini at the opening reception at Two Rivers Printmaking Studio, 5- 7 pm. More details available here

Enjoy Los Lorcas: Poetry in Concert at ArtisTree to celebrate the spirit of Federico Garcia Lorca, 7:30 pm. Additional details available here.

Saturday, April 7th…

Peruse the Woodstock Winter Farmer’s Market for local faire. 10 am - 1 pm at 30 pleasant street.

Take the kids to Family Clay Day at ArtisTree, 10 am - 12 pm. All ages are welcome. Additional details available here

Join artist Eleanor Pigman in a full day class of embroidery with seed beads. Details and registration available at ArtisTree's website.

See Marathon: The Patriot’s Day Bombing at Billings Farm & Museum presented by Woodstock Vermont Film Series. Showings at 3 and 5:30 pm. Tickets available here

Attend ArtisTree's first Concert for a Cause Debussy: A 100 Year’s Celebration with Matthew Odell & Leslie Stood, 4 pm. Concert will benefit the Woodstock YOH Theater Players trip to Scotland to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. More details available here. Tickets at the door.
