Hop Into Spring

It certainly is beginning to feel a little like spring and thankfully just in time for the Easter weekend. Enjoy an outdoor egg hunt with the kids or stop by Billings Farm & Museum to celebrate the arrival of their baby farm animals.

Have the longer days and warmer weather put a spring in your step? There are plenty of concerts in and around Town this weekend. We have highlighted a few of our favorites below. 

Thursday, March 29th….



Brainstorm on ideas for the town with local businesses and organizations at the Optimist Center’s Community Brainstorming event, 12 - 2 pm.  

Enjoy a performance for Youth in Arts with The Huntertones, a Brooklyn based group at Woodstock Town Hall Theater, 10 - 11 am. More details available at Pentangle Arts

Listen to Brooklyn based group The Huntertone’s presented by Pentangle Arts at the Little Theater. Tickets available here. 7:30 pm. 

View work by local artist Helen Shulman at Four Seasons Sotheby’s Realty office in Hanover. Open daily 9 - 5 pm through April 5th. 

Friday, March 30th….

Meet the newest animals at Billings Farm & Museum Baby Farm Animal Celebration, 10 - 4 pm. 

Enjoy Brownsville Community Church’s Good Friday Concert with local musicians, 130 pm. Mass to follow at 230 pm.

Join the Community Passover Seder & Potluck at Woodstock Area Jewish Community Congregation Shir Shalom. Details available on the events calendar.

Celebrate Women in Music with Jenni & The Junketeers at ArtisTree, 7 - 9 pm. 

Saturday, March 31st….

Hunt for Easter Eggs at the North Chapel, 10 am. RSVP at 802.457.2557.

Visit the Bridgewater Fire Department for an easter egg hunt, 10 am. Children 12 and under. More details available at The Vermont Standard

Hop over to the Reading Bunny Hop, 10 am. Bartley Field (or Reading Elementary School pending mud). More details available at The Vermont Standard

Join South Woodstock Country Store for their Mud Season Celebration & Easter Egg Hunt. 1 - 3 pm. Easter Egg Hunt starts at 130 pm. Open to the public. 

Meet some baby farm animals at Billings Farm & Museum Baby Farm Animal Celebration, 10 - 4 pm.

Build a Cardboard City at Montshire Museum of Science, 12 - 4 pm. More details available here.

Enjoy Dada Masilo's Giselle, a bold reinterpretation of Swan Lake, at The Moore Theater at Hopkins Center for the Arts, 8 pm.
