Halloween Fun 2021
It’s time to celebrate Halloween! The mornings and evenings are chilly and the holiday season is about to begin, get your costumes and Halloween decor ready and prepare to be filled up with cider donuts and plenty of Halloween candy.
Read on for all of Woodstock’s Halloween Happenings around town.

Oct. 24th, 2021 | 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
Billings Farm and Museum
Get in the spirit with A Family Halloween at Billings Farm. Children in costume are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Activities for all ages include pumpkin bowling, making spider web necklaces, plus family-friendly Halloween story readings.
Trick or Treating stations all day from 10-5 pm will be set up and kids can participate in a Halloween parade held at 11:30 am, 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm. Hayrides will be offered 10:30-4 pm.
Oct. 25th-27th
Norman Williams Public Library
Will be holding a pumpkin carving contest! Submissions can be sent in the 25th-27th bring your pumpkin to the circulation desk. The public will vote on who has the best jack-o-lantern and announce the winner on October 30th.

Oct. 30th, 2021 | 4-6 PM
South Woodstock Country Store
Come to South Woodstock for Halloween fun including hayrides, explore a large haunted forest through the village. Trick or Treating for the little ones with maps being provided at the fire station to plan your candy route. This Halloween event is geared towards children 10 and under but all young at heart are welcome.

Oct. 3oth, 2021 | 10 AM-5:30 PM
Vermont Institute of Natural Science
Visit VINs for the day to celebrate Halloween with their “Halloweeny” themed events, including Scales and Serpents and Owls in Myth and Legend.

Woodstock Inn & Resort
Start your trick or treating, by stopping at the Inn for a treat.
Oct 31st, 2021 | 1-4:00 PM
Barnard General Store
Right across the street from stunning Silver Lake, the Barnard General Store will be providing a trunk or treat family fun event just outside of the store by the lake! Join them for a costume contest on their porch and they will have a bounce house in the backyard for the kid’s delight!


and finally the grand event Trick or Treating in Woodstock on High, maple, and golf Street
October 31st, 2021 | 5-8:00 PM
The tradition continues in Woodstock Village! Maple, High, and Golf street will be closed to traffic for Trick-or-Treat mania. All three streets will be participating in passing out sweet treats while decorated to spook and delight all who dare to come. Please be respectful of all and enjoy this Halloween season with us.
All goblins, princesses, superheroes, and fun Halloween costumes will be on full display. Don’t be afraid to get into it and be sure to enjoy this Woodstock tradition.
