Start off the holiday season with a cocktail from Woodstock's newest bar; Au Comptoir.

Located at 4 Mechanic Street, down a brick alley towards the Woodstock Welcome Center you'll find one of Woodstock's newest businesses Au Comptoir.

Au Comptoir boasts modern craft cocktails and small bar bites with its own unique small bar vibe. Owner Zoe who co-founded Farmhouse Pottery brings her personal touch to its unique style and was happy to share her Ginger Margarita recipe with us so you might recreate it at home.

Au Comptoir Ginger Margarita

Ingredients

1.5 oz tequila blanco

0.75 oz fresh lime juice

O.5 oz orange liqueur

0.25 oz fresh ginger syrup

Pinch of salt

Add all ingredients to a shaking tin, fill with ice and shake well. Pour into a rocks glass that is half-rimmed with salt and garnish with sliced lime and candied ginger*.
