Events “A Vermont Quilt Sampler” Quilt Exhibition

“A Vermont Quilt Sampler” returns to Billings Farm & Museum, showcasing 56 stunning quilts created by quilters from 36 towns across Vermont. From traditional patterns and classic techniques to bold, unexpected, and contemporary designs, this year's exhibition offers a vibrant celebration of Vermont’s quilting artistry today. The exhibition features work by individual textile artists, members of quilting guilds, and seven first-time quilters. More than just a visual experience, the display invites visitors to connect more deeply with the stories, craft, and community behind each quilt. Interpretive panels and gallery labels help uncover the intention and meaning stitched into every piece. Interactive activities highlight steps in the quilting process and on select weekends, local guilds will demonstrate techniques and share insights with visitors. Guests will have the chance to vote for their favorite quilt. The exhibition is included with admission.
