BarnArts continues to keep the Barnard Street Dance tradition alive! This free, family-friendly community event is Saturday, August 23rd from 2-7pm. 

The Silver Lake Association kicks the day off with a boat race on Silver Lake at 2pm. While over at the Barnard Town Hall parking lot, food vendors, activities from Barnard Rec, art-making, touch-a-truck with the Fire Department, and a great local music lineup also starts at 2pm: 

*Open Mic with Justin Park at 2pm

*Blind Squirrel for a Contra Dance (with Kevin Donohue calling) at 4pm 

*Pointe Noir Cajun Band 5:30pm 

Food from local vendors will be available from 2-7pm 
Panou Kitchen - Haitian Cuisine & Silver Lake Syrups 

NA drinks will be for sale from BarnArts - Maple Lemonade, Carin's Kombuchas, Fresh Herbal and Regular Tea & plenty of Barnard artesian well water.

A raffle will be held to raise money for the event and other free BarnArts community events. An auction will also be held online with tons of wonderful prizes from local businesses such as Putnam’s Vine/yard, Worthy, Happy Vermont, Harpoon, POST., Back Beyond Farm, Fontinalis, Daybreaks Glass, and more including items from local artisans!
