Billings Farm & Museum (BF&M) looks forward to welcoming the public back to our site on Saturday, June 27! Opening hours will be 10AM-4PM Thursday through Monday. The site will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice.

It is our priority to make sure the well-being of our guests and our staff is safeguarded. Billings Farm & Museum has adopted Six Core Safety Pillars to guide our decisions on opening safely and to inform how we operate safely across the BF&M site. These Pillars apply to both staff and guests:

Stay home when ill

  • Staff and guest temperatures will be taken upon arrival

Practice physical distancing (6’ minimum)

  • Guests who are not traveling together must be 6’ apart at all times
  • Staff will maintain 6’ distancing

Wear face coverings

  • Face coverings are required to be worn by all staff and guests on site, except children under the age of 2, and as prescribed by state guidelines
  • As an additional measure, BF&M has installed translucent protective physical barriers at transaction points

Minimize contact with touchable surfaces

  • Frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized at regular intervals throughout the day

Wash and sanitize hands frequently

  • Sanitization stations are easily accessible in each open area of BF&M

Manage occupancy, flow, and gathering in spaces

  • Guests have a designated “in” and “out” space or door in each open area of BF&M
  • BF&M will align maximum occupancy in each of its spaces with all Vermont public health guidelines
