Torchlight Snowshoe at Billings Farm & Museum

Friday, January 12, 4:30PM - 6:30PM

In this wintry, after-hours experience, guests can walk, snowshoe or ski along the illuminated Billings Farm Walking Trail loop.  The gentle, 1-mile trail meanders along the picturesque Ottauquechee River with views of Woodstock, the East End Park, and the beautiful farmstead. Guests can learn more about the local landscape from Billings Farm staff and Park Rangers from the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, who will share captivating insights into wildlife, the land’s history, and its past inhabitants.  Families and friends can gather by the crackling outdoor fire and warm up with complimentary s’mores, hot cocoa, and coffee.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 4-15, and free for 3 and under. Rates for Billings Farm & Museum members are $5 for adults and free for children ages 4-15.  Not yet a member?  Join Today! Billingsfarm.org/join/ or purchase a membership at the Ticket Desk.  Advance registration is recommended.  Walk-ins are welcome.

A limited number of adult and youth snowshoes are available to borrow, or equipment can be rented at the Woodstock Inn & Resort’s Nordic Center (please note:  the Nordic Center closes at 4:00PM).  Headlamps are recommended.
