Guitarists John Stowell and Draa Hobbs return to Artistree for an afternoon of jazz improvisations!

ABOUT THE CONCERT 

The duo will explore a wide variety of material ranging from jazz standards and famous compositions by Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Cedar Walton, to seldom-heard songs by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Stowell and Hobbs have been performing concerts together as a duo for more than a decade.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

There will be a Guitar Workshop prior to the concert for guitarists and anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of jazz improvisation. The workshop will run for approximately 90 minutes beginning at 12:00 pm.

DRAA HOBBS

Guitarist Draa Hobbs has enjoyed a busy schedule of club dates and concerts throughout New England. He has performed in Paris and, in 2019, Germany. He teaches guitar and guitar workshops both online and at his home in Grafton, VT.
