Events Father's Day "Base Ball"

Step back in time for a friendly, action-packed game of historic “base ball” at 2:00pm. Played by 1860 rules, the game will unfold beyond the pastures on a field with wood shaving baselines, canvas bases stuffed with straw, and a metal pitcher’s and home plate. Players will swing ash bat reproductions and honor the tradition of playing barehanded. Visitors of all ages are invited to join the team or grab snacks and a scoop of ice cream from the Farmhouse Scoop Shop and cheer from the bleachers as they enjoy one of American original pastimes.
