An interactive musical performance for children and families.

Miss Lynn's Rainbow Machine performance is fun, engaging, and encourages singing along and movement. The songs are a mix of well known family friendly songs ("Shake Your Sillies Out", "Octopus's Garden", "You Are My Sunshine", for example), and Miss Lynn originals like "Animal Best Friends" and "Eat Your Greens". There are many opportunities for audience engagement, where kids are asked for help with lyrics and improvising parts of songs. This engages the kids even more, and it's always hilarious and amusing to hear the things they come up with! A child of the 80's, Miss Lynn's trinity of inspiration includes Mary Poppins, The Muppets, and Mr. Rogers. She tries to embody the whimsical sternness that commands respect from Mary Poppins, the humor of the Muppets, and the emotional connectivity of Mr. Rogers.
