"The most beautiful race I've ever done!" - 2014 race participant.

A 5K and 10K run around Silver Lake in Barnard, VT. The race is a fundraiser for BarnArts youth programming. BarnArts is a community arts organization located in Barnard. The race is designed to connect community members of all ages through a healthy and fun spring activity.  Both races will start and end inside of Silver Lake State Park and include wooded trails, back roads and scenic paths with intermittent views of the lake.  There will be a post-race celebration afterwards including live music and a free catered lunch for race participants. A short kids fun run will also take place during this post-race time.

Registration:

$35 Adults

$15 Kids 12 and under

Late Registration (After May 8):

$40 Adults

$20 Kids 12 and under

Sign-up with multiple participants and automatically get a reduction in processing fees! (Registration fees remain the same.)

Sign-up by April 30 to receive a free race T-shirt.

Awards will be given to top 3 finishers in each race, male and female, plus top winners, male and female, in age categories: 12 and under, 13-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65+

Schedule of Events:

9:00-10:15  Registration/check-in 

10:30  10k start

10:45  5k start

11:00am - 1pm   Post-race activities along the waterfront

11:00 - 1pm  Music

11:15 - 12:45  Lunch "Chef's Table" with dishes by local restaurants and prepared food businesses.

11:45  Awards

12:15  Kid's fun run
