This hands-on mending workshop invites participants to embrace the art of repair, transforming worn garments and textiles into unique, revitalized pieces. Focusing on the creative possibilities of mending rather than discarding, the workshop covers essential skills such as sewing, darning, appliqué, and decorative stitching. Armed with just a needle, thread, scissors, and a treasured item to restore, attendees will not only save money but also contribute to reducing clothing waste in landfills. The session is $15/person, $10/member.
