This February, children ages 8-11 are invited to experience the magic of winter on a farm at Billings Farm & Museum’s Winter Wonders Farm Camp. Campers will explore the joys of farm life during winter through hands-on activities, animal care, cooking, and outdoor adventures, all while learning how a working dairy farm operates in the coldest months. This three-day camp provides a unique balance of indoor and outdoor fun, allowing young adventurers to engage in a variety of farm activities, such as collecting eggs, brushing and feeding cows, learning about horse gear, and discovering the uses of wool from the Billings Farm Southdown sheep. In addition to farm chores and cooking, campers will enjoy a creative side with winter-themed crafts including homemade crayons, wool crafts, and creating winter landscapes. Registration is now open; to learn more and to hold your spot, visit Billingsfarm.org/camps-at-the-farm.
