Frida Kahlo was so much more than an artist, she was an activist, feminist, and freedom seeker. She refused to settle for the norm and used her art to tell her truth. "Frida" is an artistic storytelling of Kahlo's vibrant, colorful life. Director Carla Gutiérrez paints a beautiful portrait of Frida's life through her own words, thoughts, and recollections paired with paintings, photos, and archival footage.
