Learn to use eco-friendly dyes made from plants in this hands-on workshop. Use yarn from Billings Farm’s Southdown Sheep and explore the steps in the botanical dyeing process. Workshop Instructor Rachel Kahn will cover growing, harvesting, and extracting color from plants, followed by a Q&A with the Billings Farm Lead Gardener. Leave with practical dyeing skills and a skein of dyed yarn. The workshop is $20/person, $15/member. Registration and course details are at https://billingsfarm.org/billings-backyard/
