Events Billings Farm & Museum July Pre-K Story Time

This event has no more occurrences

This imaginative children’s program connects stories to hands-on experiences on the farm.  Each month will feature a different farm-related book with a chance to do an activity around the site, make a craft, and enjoy a snack.

In July’s story, the flowers are calling to all the animals of the forest, "Drink me!"—but it’s just the pollinators who feast on their nectar.  This beautifully illustrated tale explores the interconnectedness of nature and the cooperation between plants, animals, and insects.  Following the story, children will visit the Farmstead Gardens, make a paper plate flower, and enjoy a snack of apple slices and honey.

This class is designed for preschool aged children, ages 3-5, and requires an adult companion. Registration is $12/child including one adult or $10/member child including one adult. Advance registration recommended.  Guests who want to visit the site after the program must purchase admission.   Billingsfarm.org/prekstorytime
