Nicholas Edward Williams artfully bridges the gap between folk, blues, country, soul, and bluegrass with a timeless tinge.

Take one seasoned, bucolic folk artist and mix him with the likes of Ray Lamontagne, crossed with all the poetic feels of Bob Dylan’s early recordings. You might find someone that’s been working tirelessly for the last decade, rediscovering himself and expanding the conversation of Americana.

A recent transplant to Chattanooga, TN after many years of living on the road full-time, Nicholas Edward Williams, is an international touring independent artist blending American folk music with travis-style fingerpicking, melodic vocals, soul-filled lyrics, rolling harmonica, whistling and a stomp box creating a sound that's feel familiar, yet new. The 34 year-old amounted a wealth of a career performing under his debut folk moniker "Whetherman", opening for critically acclaimed acts such as Taj Mahal, The Wood Brothers, and Billy Strings, as well as releasing eight full-length albums while touring extensively throughout US and Europe since 2007.
