Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk’s one-man show offers a dramatic retelling of Washington Irving’s American classic, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Written in 1819, this gothic-romance went “viral,” bringing the author wealth and fame. True to the author’s original story, the performance streamlines with spirited action, jump-starts, and wit. Jonathan Kruk, M.A. education theater, has enjoyed a full-time career as a professional storyteller since 1989.  He performs annually at over two hundred venues, and he currently an BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services) Artist-Educator in the state of New York and serves as The Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum’s storyteller in residence. He has seven award-winning recordings for children and adults and has been featured on ABC Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning, the BBC, and the National Geographic Channel.
