With new state guidance, a bushel of our favorite local farmers' markets are ready for business - and we've rounded them up so you can get shopping (safely) under the summer sun...

Feast & Field Market

Location: Fable Farm Fermentory's outdoor orchard at 1525 Royalton Turnpike, Barnard, VT (temporary for 2020)

Dates: 5-9 PM on Thursdays June 18 through September 24, 2020

Vendors and offerings:

  • Fable Farm dinners sourced from Eastman Farm, Kiss the Cow, and Heartwood Farm
  • Local beer, cider, wine, kombucha
  • Live music presented by BarnArts

Safety precautions:

  • A sliding scale entrance fee ($5-20 per person) included in the online dinner reservation to avoid in-person transactions
  • Limited attendance (currently 50 people) per week
  • Reservations required (members receive priority)
  • Masks worn by staff
  • Tables spaced 10 feet apart, parties limited to two families each

Market on the Green



Location: The Green, Woodstock, VT (across the street from Norman Williams Public Library)

Dates: 3-6 PM on Wednesdays June 10 through October 14, 2020

  • Postponing music, crafts, and kids’ activities till July

Norwich Farmers’ Market

Location: 301 US Route 5, South Norwich, VT

Dates: 9 AM – 1 PM Saturdays from May 4 to October 26, 2020

Hartland Farmers’ Market

Location: 153 Route 5, Hartland, VT
