Join us for our 2nd Annual FREE ArtFest Community Day! Enjoy an afternoon filled with creativity, community, and fun for all ages. More than just a fun day out, ArtFest is about bringing our community together through all forms of art.
Sunday, September 21st from 11am to 3pm
In keeping with Artistree’s mission to make the arts accessible to everyone, ArtFest is free to attend. Together with friends, families, neighbors, artists, and musicians, celebrate the transformative power of creativity and the connections that unite our community.
Highlights of this FREE festival include:
- Interactive arts and crafts activities for kids and adults led by local teaching artists
- Live music by The Onion River Jazz Band and Grey Cats
- Ice cream for everyone (yes, really!)
- Face painting
- Bounce house
- Theater improvisation games
- Chalk graffiti art on the street
- Japanese cooking demonstrations and tastings
- Guided tours of our sensory gardens: Experience nature through sight, smell, sound, touch, and taste
- A “marketplace” featuring local artists, back-to-school items, local organizations
- Dancing, laughter, and a whole lot of community spirit
- Local food trucks will be on-site serving up favorites for purchase
We’re excited to offer our community hands-on creative experiences, live music, delicious local food, and sweet surprises.
Parking for the Open House will be in the field that is accessed across from Saskedena Six Ski Area. Accessibility parking available in the Artistree parking lot.
