9/6/18 – 9/8/18 & beyond: Visit the Mezzanine Art Gallery of the Norman Williams Public Library for Diana Mellar’s “Digital Doodles.”

9/6/18 – 9/9/18 & beyond: LandARTLab, a complimentary exhibition of outdoor sculptures, continues at King Farm from 8 AM – 8 PM

9/6/18 – 9/9/18 & beyond: It’s the second-to-last weekend of colorful quilts at Billings Farm & Museum! Don’t miss your chance to stop by the farm for this 32nd Annual Quilt Exhibition, featuring juried works of local artists.

9/7/18 – 9/9/18 & beyond: It’s time for family movie night in the Hundred Acre Wood! Christopher Robin (PG) is playing at the Woodstock Town Hall Theatre nightly from 7:30 – 9:15 PM.

9/8/18 – 9/9/18: Catch an impressive competition under the early fall foliage with Green Mountain Horse Association’s Fall Hunter Jumper Show.

9/8/18 – 9/9/18: It’s an art extravaganza on Woodstock’s town green! From 10 AM – 4 PM, observe gorgeous works of art and even take some home with you during this Woodstock Art Festival complete with music, food, and imaginative fun.

9/8/18 – 9/9/18: Relive the glory days this weekend! Saturday and Sunday, visit downtown WRJ for the 26th Annual Glory Days Festival, featuring train rides, model train shows, games, live music, delicious food, and more. Admission is free, but train ride tickets can be purchased at the gate or online.

Art Festival

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 6…

Get in some office hours at the Optimist Center with open co-working (free) from 10 AM – 4 PM!

Then take a break from 3 – 3:45 PM with Kelly Way Gardens’ relaxing, immersive Five Senses Tour (complimentary).

Later, get your grocery shopping done with a side of fun at Lebanon, NH’s Farmers’ Market, featuring live music from Althea SullyCole from 4 – 7 PM.



FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7…

Ladies, for a heart-pumping end to your workweek, join in on the Divas of Dirt group mountain bike ride at Killington from 3 – 5 PM.

Later, it’s a Parking Lot Party and you’re invited! Stop by Revolution in WRJ for music, art, tacos, beer, cider from Piecemeal Pies, and great buys from 5 – 8 PM.

Then, take the whole family out for Movie Screen on the Green at Colburn Park in Lebanon, NH! Beginning at 7 PM, sprawl out on the grass for a showing of The Incredibles (PG).

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8…

Ready, set, go – with the Farnum Five.5 race in Lebanon, NH, beginning at 9 AM! Pre-register now or register on race day from 7 – 8:30 AM. 

The summer season is coming to a close, so join Kelly Way Gardens from 9 – 9:45 AM for a last look at locally-grown blooms with Seasonal Florist: Flower Splendor in September, a complimentary garden tour.

Take your pick of farmers’ market fun:

Delight in the quiet beauty of the Pogue as you join the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP in a history hike to this picturesque spot filled with placid, reflective water and intriguing local lore. Beginning at 10 AM, this hike is complimentary but registration is required. 

10 AM – 12 PM: At this tour and tasting at Kelly Way Gardens, you’ll learn about the tomatoes grown on-site during this walk through the grounds with Architect and Gardener Benjamin Pauly, followed by a culinary demonstration from Resort Executive Chef Rhys H. Lewis. $45 per person plust tax and gratuity.

There’s something special in store at Billings Farm & Museum! From 10 AM – 5 PM, catch the first of Traditional Craft Saturdays, featuring insight into their history, process, and use from experienced crafters.

At the Green Mountain Perkins Academy, join in on the Annual Meeting and introduce yourself to Linda Radtke, author of The Vermont Civil War Songbook. Beginning at 2 PM.

Later, partake in music, food, gallery tours, and shopping with the Woodstock Village Square Art Walk from 5 – 8 PM.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9…

It’s a Mac & Cheese Challenge! From 11 AM – 3 PM, sample and vote on the best dish from twenty restaurants from the Upper Valley. And there’s more than just mac & cheese in store – there you’ll find live music, a petting zoo, and beers from Harpoon Brewery! Hosted by the Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company. Tickets available online for purchase.

Visit the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon, NH for their Apple Harvest Festival! From 12 – 4 PM, you’ll celebrate all things apple while enjoying food, games, music, raffles, a bouncy house, an apple pie bake-off, and so much more!
